Terms

Last updated 2 October 2026.

The short version

fish.gallery is free. Use it for your own aquariums. Do not abuse it and it will not be taken away from you.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What you put in

Your data stays yours. Publishing a tank makes that page readable by anyone with the link, and you can make it private again whenever you like. Anything illegal, abusive or not yours to post will be removed and the account closed.

Care advice

The stocking advice is a careful opinion built from published care figures, not a guarantee. Living animals are your responsibility. Check anything that matters against another source.

No promises about uptime

This is run by one person on one server. It is backed up and looked after, but it is free and it comes with no warranty. Keep your own copy of anything you would hate to lose, which the export on settings makes easy.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with them.
